Vars was standing on the beach, his gaze lost toward the horizon. -A storm afar. -
The sand beneath his feet collapsed, he closed his eyes and let himself sink into it. The changeling was now falling from the storm. He felt The Salty One's presence: Wind, rain, thunder, He was everywhere, screaming His wrath against him. Vars fell on the topgallant sail which broke like glass. The impact shattered his soul. His personas scattered like broken pieces. Garret ? Disappeared, a piece nowhere to be found anymore. - Neither the ship. -
Vars violently hit the sea and sank into the black water ; deeper and deeper, until nothing could be seen. He now felt another presence: amused, insidious and rampant... The cold black water began to fill his lungs and at last, Vars woke up.
Lir was there. A new piece of soul to fill the void of the missing one. And that piece, even he feared it..
